Thank you for sharing such a lovely home. I had work in Charleston, and it was the perfect location, both for the days I could work remotely and for days I needed to commute in and for my husband to work remotely, too. We were pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer than we expected. The location was quiet and peaceful since it was a little ways away from Center Street. The views were unmatched and the furnishings were very comfortable. Our dog loved it too! We plan to return.

The house is a Folly gem. Excellent ocean/beach views from each level and super chill area. We loved all the outdoor seating options. Very clean and well stocked and nicely furnished. We definitely plan on renting this property again.

Overall great stay with an unbeatable location - on the calm north end of folly away from. The busy town areas. Private but not isolated! Kitchen appliances could use some work - fridge filter needs replacement and stove needs maintenance.

There were 8 of us that stayed here for my sister's bachelorette and we were all so impressed by the house, beach and proximity to the downtown area. We only wish we had stayed longer and would love to vacation at this house again!

This was our first visit to Charleston, so we were not familiar with the geography of the beaches. Thanks to the website we were able to get a feel for where this house was in relation to the busy "downtown" area of Folly Beach. That said we could not have been happier with the location of the property. After parking both of our vehicles in the shade under the house, we climbed the stairs overlooking the beach to the front door. The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean the house was.

LOVE this house. It fits our family perfectly. Great location, directly on the beach, and at the end of the beach so not too crowded. The house is very well stocked! Great beach house!

What a perfect location. My husband who has trouble walking long distances was able to sit on the beach a couple of days and then sit on the screened in porch and watch his granddaughter play in the ocean. He's even asked to go back next year.

This home was absolutely perfect and beautiful! We loved it! Carolina One was amazing to work with, they were quick to respond and were so accommodating when we left early due to the hurricane coming in. Would highly recommend!

Since we spent two weeks this year at the beach we decided to take our two dogs and they loved it. Several people voted my lab Reilly the official greeter of Folly Beach! We had a great time and planning on another visit next year!

Beautiful home in a great location. The master suite takes up the whole second floor, and the other 2 bedrooms are on the same level with the kitchen, dining space & small living area. There is a very nice screened in porch that is useful if you have a large group. The beach is not kayak or paddle board friendly - currents are strong and dangerous. There are local companies that can take you on an inland waterway kayak tour, if interested. Talk with the locals who live on the island - you'll learn the most

I vacationed at 1 Summer Place for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends/family. We could not have asked for a better vacation home! Everything was perfect! Property management even left a sweet card & bottle of wine to help celebrate my special day! The memories we made at 1 Summer Place will not be forgotten! The kitchen is fully stocked with EVERYTHING you need! We enjoyed a shrimp boil on the lower porch watching the ocean, volleyball on your private property, games on the screened porch.

The views are unmatched. The deck spaces are absolutely incredible. The bathrooms are all updated and home is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is stocked with all you would need. The hosts are very responsive. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend and will be back again!

This was the nicest rental home we have stayed in. Especially love the house has all the amenities of much larger homes. Since we are a small family it was perfect. Come experience one of the largest beachfront lots on Folly, with an unobstructed 180 degree ocean view, perfect to spend a bit of time on the beach. 1 Summer is a spectacular 3 bedroom, 3 full bath completely updated oceanfront home. Three ocean facing decks begin our list of only a few of the amazing amenities at Summers Folly. The first deck is on the second level, off the large master suite. Relax and enjoy a morning cup of joe or sit and view the sunset from this awesome rooftop spot. On clear days you can see all the way to Morris Island lighthouse and Folly River. The second porch, on the main floor of the home, is a comfortable, fully screened area with full ocean views, the perfect spot for an oceanside meal. The last oceanfront deck is on the ground level, steps to the ocean and the best spot on the island for sunbathing, sand play or hitting the waves. Ample ocean side seating and beachfront dining table will ensure you and your guests the perfect opportunity to view passing dolphin pods.

1 Summer has been fully updated for the season, cleaned and pristine and awaiting your arrival. Enjoy dinner oceanside at our huge dining table which comfortably seats 8. Prepare meals in the fully stocked and updated kitchen, complete with brand new appliances. When you need a break from the sun, or find a stormy day, relax and unwind on the comfy couches, one of which is a queen size pull out couch, watch a movie or listen to music on our Wi-Fi enabled soundbar. Towards the rear of the first floor are two bedrooms, and the laundry room with brand new washer and dryer. The first bedroom houses a queen size bed with a huge walk-in closet. This bedroom has a fully updated shower/tub combo ensuite bathroom. 

The second first floor bedroom has three beds, a queen size bed, and a built-in full over full bunk bed. This bedroom has yet another beautiful spacious bathroom with a walk in tile shower. The second floor of Summers Folly contains an amazing master suite. A spacious king size bed, huge walk-in shower and massive walk in closets. You will love waking up to the sounds of the waves and views of the ocean in this perfect master space. The exterior amenities of Summers Folly leaves nothing left to be desired. Right next to the beachside deck, a built-in charcoal grill is available for all your grilling needs. This huge ocean facing lot boasts a full size grass volleyball court, and that’s not all! Unfortunately, beach towels are not provided at this home. There is a Walmart 3 miles from Folly Beach that you will pass on your way here.

Yes, please refer to the Guest License Agreement clause:

LINENS:  All properties will be stocked with 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth per person based on the stated maximum occupancy of the home. All bed linens, pillows, bathmats, and two kitchen towels will also be provided for the property. Note: All linen and terry are the property of the OWNER and must remain at the property. The replacement cost of any missing terry or linen will be charged at the GUEST's expense to the guest credit card on file.
