Join the Edisto Fall Festival & Turtle Tide Art Auction on Saturday, October 12th, beginning at 11:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm. This year’s fall festival will be a street fair in front of the Jungle Rd Plaza featuring over 50 vendors. Some vendors include arts & crafts, clothing, food, and more. From 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, listen to live music in the lot between the Jungle Road Plaza and Food Lion with Edisto Gumbo. Around 2:00 pm, the Turtle Tide Art Project Live Auction will be held. This is where you’ll see the ten turtles being auctioned off to benefit local non-profits! This is one event that you don’t want to miss this year!

Boone Hall Plantation Pumpkin Patch

For many families, fall isn’t the same without having at least one trip to the local pumpkin patch. This year, instead of going to one at home, why not give our local one at Boone Hall Plantation a try? Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October, you and your family can enjoy some great things at Boone Hall Plantation. From taking that famous Halloween Tractor Tour to playing in the Corn Maze, there is something for everyone in the family. Admission to the Pumpkin Patch is $15 per person ages 3 & up and accessible to any child ages two and under. Be sure to check out bringing a pumpkin or two home as your souvenir this year from the beach.

Halloween Carnival

Another great event this October is the Halloween Carnival on the Isle of Palms. Join us on Saturday, October 26th, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, where you and the family can watch the golf cart parade through town starting on 27th Street and ending on 28th Street. After the Halloween Golf Cart Parade, head to the Playgrounds where the carnival will be. Here you’ll be able to drive through the haunted house, play on the inflatables, check out some local food vendors, and more. Plus, there will be trick-or-treating bags for all kids! What a fun event to check out on your next vacation to Isle of Palms.

Boone Hall Fright Nights

Are you ready for a spine-chilling experience this October at Boone Hall? Boone Hall Fright Nights is one of the most thrilling events on the Charleston Coast in October. Here, you’ll head to the historic Boone Hall Plantation, where you will have many terrifying haunted house attractions that scare even the bravest souls. From eerie mazes to haunted houses filled with fright, this event is one you don’t want to miss. This event is open to all 12 years and older who love to be scared, but children under six cannot join the fun. Whether you’re a seasoned horror movie enthusiast or just looking for a fun time, this is one you’ll never forget! Be sure to purchase your tickets before heading over to the plantation for a scare fest like no other.

Many other fun events are happening along the South Carolina Coast, but we wanted to share these with you. Now is the time if you haven’t booked your next stay with us at Carolina One vacation rentals. We can’t wait to hear which event was your favorite this October!
