Great location. Good value for money. Plenty of room. Loved the quaintness of the house. The down stairs has funny odor. Would stay again. Needs a little tlc.

A comfortable house in a great location.

We use this same property every spring break. Love the beach side deck and the screened porch.

We loved this spacious shabby-chic house. My husband and I grew up in Charleston, going to the beach all summer, and this house was so nostalgic. Unlike some older homes, the living spaces are broad and generous, a large screened porch upstairs, and a large kitchen-living room-dining room space. The one thing we regretted was that we didn't know the beach doesn't get waves, like we were used to. The water is more like a lake, with waves just lapping quietly at the shore. To get waves, we had to get in the car and drive 17 blocks. Waves are important to us, so we regretfully won't rent this house again. We did like the house very much. An unexpected bonus here: because of the situation of the island, you can look right out the screened porch over the ocean to the sunset! How can you see the sun setting over the water, on the east coast? Amazing. We got great photos.
