We loved our stay! The marsh was so fun. We rented a kayak for the week and were able to enjoy taking it out every day of our stay. The walk to the beach was short and conviennent. We had the best of both worlds with the marsh and the beach. The house was clean on our arrival and was easy to keep clean with hardwood floors and good showers. We hope to return again in the further!

Absolutely wonderful stay at 124 Waters Edge. Being right next to the pool made it convenient with the kids. The view was outstanding. Well stocked, very clean, and well organized. Adding the golf cart to our stay was also very convenient. Quick ride to the beach and finding parking for the cart was not difficult. We plan to stay here again in the future!

The property was very nice, the scenery was beautiful. Be aware of the stairs though, outside and inside. Would not recommend for older individuals who have trouble with stairs. The property had mostly all of the amenities we needed and was very clean.

We loved this house. Great view of the water, very convenient to downtown Folly Beach. Our whole family walked to the pier and to dinner. It was a very easy and short walk. Next time we get to Folly, we'll definitely go back to this house.

Our stay in Folly lacked for nothing it was our "home away from home", perfect for a group of 6 adults! There were lots of amenities; well stocked kitchen; top to bottom the house is immaculately clean; pool is within the condo complex; no car necessary to get to the local shops & restaurants; easy walk to the beach; screened in porch.....just to name a few highlights to make our vacation fun and relaxing! The easy walking distance to eating and other stores was great. The other attractions in the area were easy to get to. The place was wonderful to come home to at end of day. When we entered and you had the lights on low with music playing we knew we were going to have a good time.

We have been coming to Folly for 10 plus yrs & this was our first time staying here. We will be staying at this house & with Carolina One from now on. We did have a minor incident with a garage door breaking and repair men needed to be there. It went seamless and didn't disrupt our vacation at all. Thanks you for fantastic service

The location of the place was great! We loved being able to see when the pool was busy or empty and plan our day accordingly. We used the 4 person golf cart that was available for rent and it was handy getting all our stuff to the beach!

This is the perfect location in Folly Beach -- walking distance to the beach and a block from Center Street but far enough away from the commercial activity for a relaxing stay. The unit is bright and clean and the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. The managers are available but not intrusive, friendly and very responsive. We loved our stay at 124 Waters Edge and will return.

Description

Welcome to 124 Waters Edge, Folly Beach’s premier riverfront property! This riverfront townhome has stunning views of the Folly River and South Carolina Lowcountry. This townhome has a designer's touch with impeccable wood flooring, distinctive bead board walls and ceiling, elegant crown molding, bohemian shutters and intricate custom cabinetry. Located directly beside the pool and community dock, Waters Edge 124 has it all. Relax on the screen porch, enjoy fishing on the dock, take out a kayak on the river, or soak up the rays at the community pool. All this only minutes away from the beach and downtown Folly Beach.

The 1st floor features an open floor plan that is perfect for entertaining. Imagine cooking gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen while watching boats drift down the Folly River after a perfect day on the beach. The kitchen, with granite countertops, has everything even the most discerning chef would need to prepare a family meal. Living area has a 50-inch flat-screen TV and comfortable seating to watch the game or movies at night. Screen porch with access from the living room, has seating for 6 so that everyone can enjoy the sunset or sunrise on the Folly River together.

All three bedrooms have flat-screen TV’s and high grade bedding and linens! The Master Bedroom offers a huge walk-in closet and private deck overlooking the river. One queen bedroom is on the first level along with one full bathroom, which can be accessed from the queen bedroom or the hallway. Go up the stairs to the second queen bedroom which has a private, full bathroom. The king master bedroom is also found upstairs, also with a full, private bathroom. This townhome is perfect for families or several couples getting together.

Take in the lovely view, overlooking the marsh and river from the back patio. Don't feel like cooking? Center Street, the Folly Beach downtown area, boasts lots of local restaurants, or travel just a short 20-minute drive to downtown Charleston for a large array of eateries, historical tours, shopping, and much more!

Amenities include a full washer and dryer conveniently located on the 2nd floor of the home for your use, central heat and air, modern appliances, access to the community pool, and a starter amenity kit for bathrooms and kitchen that guests replenish as they need. Some guests recommend renting a golf cart or bikes from a local company to take back and forth to the beach and around the island. 124 Waters Edge also has a golf cart that can be rented with the home. If interested please inquire with us! You also can take in the Folly River's beauty and wildlife via kayak provided (1).

There is parking for 2 vehicles in the garage. If you have a 3rd vehicle, guest may pay refundable deposit to get 1 extra parking pass for the first come, first serve overflow lot for the complex. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am.

The Community pool typically closes October 15th and reopens April 1st. Exact dates can change per the HOA. This is a non-smoking and Non pet-friendly property. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. 24-7 On-call emergency staff. Property managed by Carolina One Vacation Rentals. No gatherings allowed that exceed maximum occupancy.
