We had a great family week at 3 Monkeys. Home is spacious, super clean and well equipped for our large group. We especially loved the location with easy walk to 6th and 8th street beaches while close to town. We enjoyed cooking in, relaxing on screened porch and took advantage of rentals - bikes and golf cart for our transportation while there. Stayed on this property for an extended girls weekend and it was PERFECT!! The house was way roomier than expected, which made both indoor and outdoor gatherings super comfortable and accommodating!! The entire process of renting, checking in, checking out was a breeze. The information shared on all processes and recommendations are precise. 3 Monkeys house is off the beaten path so there's no cut through foot / car traffic. The house itself is beautiful inside and out. It has a game room / children's room with toys to entertain. The outdoor television area is great to catch the games on. The open layout creates a wonderful gathering space for the entire family, no matter the activity. Cook and serve your family meals with ease in the modern kitchen including 2 ovens, farmhouse sink in the oversize island, gas stove, lots of cabinet and counter space, and fully stocked with cookware and serveware. Dining table seats 6 comfortably with additional seating for 5 guests around the kitchen island and counter. Kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly into the living room with plush, comfortable furnishings with a long, wrap around couch and a smart TV. Play games, read books, or watch your favorite shows. Store your belongings in the custom entryway.
Screen porch is accessible from the living room. Sip a cool beverage and kick back in tranquility with a good book while enjoying the views of the creek and wildlife. For a little more action, take the stairs down to the open and covered deck areas that provide ample additional seating with a large flat-screen TV. Grill out on the gas grill. Have company hang out with you on the lounge chairs under the warm sun or the starry nights. Utilize the outdoor shower after your time on the beach.
Large master bedroom is on the first floor, which has 1 king bed, smart TV, full private bathroom ensuite, and a private balcony with woodland views. Half bathroom conveniently accessible from the living spaces. Remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor. One bedroom is outfitted with a king bed. The other bedroom has a queen bed. Both rooms have smart TVs. The bonus room is perfect for the younger generation in your party with a full-size bunk bed and a full-size futon along with a smart TV, games, toys, and reading nook with books. Guests on this floor will share the hall bathroom with a double vanity and shower/tub combination. All beds are made with fresh, high quality linens and bath towels provided.
Just a short, 25-minute drive will take you into historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer.
