This was a great place for Spring Break with our three grandchildren. We could relax in comfort after busy days at the beach or exploring the area. We were able to make a nice Easter dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The fishing dock was a plus to see the dolphins. We had a great week in Folly. We appreciated the communication by Carolina One and making check in and out a straightforward process. The unit itself had a few issues, but when I let management know they sent a technician with a few hours to check it out. They followed up and made sure we were ok with how the problem was solved. 6 lady friends stayed here over a long weekend. The condo was perfect. Great location to get in to Charleston and minutes to Folly Beach. It was perfect! We visited Folly Beach to see our son at CofC and enjoy a long weekend. This property was exactly what we wanted! It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and maintained. The views from the porch and living room were beautiful and the walk to Folly Beach was enjoyable (less than 10 minutes). Carolina One was easy to work with and gave us detailed instructions. This rental is beautiful! Well decorated and managed. Super easy instructions for checking in and out. Accessible to grocery and our favorite fish market (Crosby's). We loved the little details about this place, for example they left us little American flags for the 4th weekend when we were there. The kids loved them for their sandcastles at the beach! Relax near the beach in style and luxury at Turn of River 3E! Newly remodeled condo with lovely river views. Swim in the community pool. Have a picnic while watching sunsets and wildlife from the community dock on the river. Scenic 13-minute walk to the beach and downtown area of Folly Beach!
Sip a cool beverage from your screen porch or living room overlooking the river and possibly see dolphin playing! Luxurious furnishings and beachy decor elegantly decorate the condo to make you feel right at home and comfortable. Living room flows into the dining area where everyone can gather together over a home-cooked meal, or play games in the evenings. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve family favorites.
Master bedroom looks straight out onto the river and with direct access to the screen porch. King bed sleeps 2 cozily from which you can stay up-to-date with your shows on the large flat-screen TV. Ensuite master bathroom is private with a walk-in shower. The queen bedroom also has a flat-screen TV and full, private bathroom to act as a second master suite. Third bedroom is perfect for the kids or singles in your group with 2 twin beds and a flat-screen TV. This room adjoins to the final full bathroom that is also accessible from the hallway.
Take a short stroll or bike ride just across the walking bridge into Folly Beach. Approximately a 13 minute walk to the nearest public beach access. Wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Stroll down the Folly Beach Pier on Center Street, or find the local and tourist favorite Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy Instagram shots!
Downtown Charleston offering world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks, and much more is also only a 25 minute drive. Experience world-class dining, art galleries, explore swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more! Amenities include WIFI, TVs, free parking, access to the community pool and dock, keyless entry, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with all modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, as well as 24-hour emergency on-call staff. This Unit is not ADA compliant. The HOA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the elevators. This home is non-smoking and no pets are allowed.
Maximum of 2 parking passes will be provided as needed. Elevator and staircases allow for easy access up to the condo. The community pool is open daily from April 1st – October 31st. Guests may bring or rent their own kayaks, but must keep them stored on or in their vehicle. Bicycles can be stored in the bike racks under the building (at your own risk). Guests are not allowed to store or launch their personal boat and no boats or trailers may be stored in the Turn of River Parking Lot. A full list of TOR rules & policies is provided upon check-in. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home, of 6 people. Guests must be 25 years old or older to rent.
