We stayed in this same unit last year and liked it so much that we chose to stay there again this year. It's very clean, quiet and comfortable, convenient to the beach, James Island and to Charleston. We love having the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms- everyone (my husband and I, our daughter, and my husband's sister) gets some privacy and no waiting on a bathroom! The kitchen has been updated nicely and was stocked (pots & pans, dishes, etc.) better than any other place I've stayed. The view over the salt marsh

We had a last minute trip to Folly and I am so glad I stumbled upon Carolina One, Marshwinds. It was a perfect location, the unit we stayed in was beautiful and extremely clean! The entire property area was very well kept. The marsh view was so picturesque! We enjoyed the porch, loved that it was all screened in!!! Cost is a little high, only thing to keep in mind!

This is the second time that we have stayed at Marsh Winds. The property was very clean and so quite. We love that it has an elevator because most properties in Folly have stairs only. The views are lovely here and it is within walking distance to downtown Folly.

Great stay at this property. Had everything you needed and location was great. Quiet neighborhood and was close to everything. Very spacious. Loved mornings sitting on the screened in porch over looking the marsh. Only wish I could have stayed longer !!!!!

Overall we had a wonderful experience at Marsh Winds! The location was perfect, easy to get into Folly Beach or James Island, and being able to overlook the marsh with no other buildings to block the view was a treat. We loved the screened porch. One of the best things was having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, perfect for our family and sister-in-law who was traveling with us. Having the reserved parking underneath was also a bonus. This is one of the best places we have stayed.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The balcony overlooks the marsh and we enjoyed seeing boats and even a stingray! It was great that everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms. The condo is close to Folly Beach. It is technically within walking distance to the beach, if you are fit, and not bringing much. If you are a family, and bringing a cooler or a beach chair, plan on driving and paying to park.

Condo was convenient to Folly Island and Charleston. Easy check-in and check-out. The 3rd floor unit was clean and spacious. Wonderfully view of grasslands from patio. Would not hesitate to book a reservation again as the elevator aided us tremendously as we had on member of group who is "cane" dependent.

The location, size and accommodations of this condo were perfect for our family. Had the weather not been so windy and cold, we would have definitely walked from the condo to the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. The condo is well stocked for cooking at home or just enjoying happy hour on the large screened porch. Thankfully for our kids, the wifi was strong and kept them online as needed. The whole place was clean, had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies for our short stay.

We were at the condo for almost two weeks. The rental basically needs an eating area and comfortable inside and outside eating/sitting furniture to be a five star stay. I would look for that if we were to stay again. (Loved the interesting art work in the living room area!)

I would recommend this property to any looking for a place at Folly Beach. It was an excellent location and was extremely clean and nice. Loved having 2 master suites and then the 3rd bedroom had direct access to the main bathroom. Very nice property.

Description

Marshwinds 1K offers panoramic river and marsh views from the top, 3rd floor of the complex. Condo is a cozy 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom getaway for up to 6 guests. The beach is just a short walk, bike ride, or drive across the bridge and through the quaint town of Folly Beach. Cool off on warm days with your access to the community pool. Elevator is accessible to easily carry up all of your belongings.

Open living space includes the kitchen and living room areas, both with views of the marsh. Head out onto the long screen porch with ample furnishings to dine, play games, and just relax and enjoy the Low Country scenery. Watch your favorite TV shows, sports, and movies on the large, flat screen TV in the living room. Kitchen is fully stocked with necessities to cook and serve your family meals. Full size washing machine and dryer located in hall closet.

Master bedroom is off of the living room with private access to the screen porch. Wake up to lovely marsh and river views. Master bedroom has 1 king bed, flat screen TV, and ensuite full bathroom. The large bathroom has a long counter with double sinks, garden tub, and separate standing shower. Guest bedroom 2 is down the hall and acts as a 2nd, smaller master bedroom. Bedroom 2 has 1 queen bed, a flat screen TV, and access to it's own, private full bathroom with a tub/shower. Across the hall is guest bedroom 3 with 2 twin beds and access to the 3rd full bathroom. This 3rd bathroom also shares entry from the hallway and houses an oversize standing shower.

Folly Beach downtown area is just across the walking bridge. Wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Stroll down the Folly Beach Pier on Center Street, or find the local and tourist favorite Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy Instagram shots!

Just a short, 25-minute drive will take you into historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Experience world-class dining, art galleries, explore swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more! Customize your memorable trip to this historical city. Take the kids to the Children's Museum and the South Carolina Aquarium. Immerse yourself and the family in the Southern culture.

Parking for 2 vehicles is free and covered, under the building - parking passes provided. Fresh linens and towels are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am.

Condo amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, keyless entry, contactless check-in, community pool, elevator for complex, full size washing machine and dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, free parking. This Unit is not ADA compliant. The HOA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the elevators. Home is non-smoking and not pet friendly. Must be 25 years old or older to rent, no exceptions. Family friendly. No events or parties allowed. Maximum occupancy of the home, of 6 guests, cannot be exceeded, regardless of sleeping or visiting. Community Pool typically opens around April 1st and closes on Oct 31st. HOA determines when the pool is open. Property is handled through local property management company and has 24-hr on-call maintenance services. Please contact us if you have additional questions.
