520 East Arctic isn't called The Tree House for nothing, as it is literally nestled amongst mature Live Oak, Palm and Magnolia trees. It is a great house for one or two couples or a small family. Getting to the beach could not be easier through public access just steps away. We loved our rental! Clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and everything you could think of in the kitchen. The fenced in area for the dogs was secure and large enough for both our dogs to run a bit. Cute, quiet little beach town with locally owned restaurants and shops. The house was very clean and the location was perfect. It was right next to the beach with easy access. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The linens/towels provided were comfortable and clean. Beds were also very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of room inside and outside of the property with decks and parking. My husband and I loved The Treehouse. This property was extremely clean and the decor was perfect for this property. The views from the large windows allowed us to see the sunset and sunrise. The location of the property was within walking distance of Center St and the beach. We love The Treehouse. It's the perfect size for our family. Can walk right across the street to the beach for great surfing. The dogs love the fenced in backyard. It's a great location. We loved the treehouse! The house was clean and inviting. Good location for a family with young children in regards to its proximity to the beach. Because of this closeness to a beach, parking area and beach access, a lot of cars park directly in front of the house. Incredible property footsteps from the sand. Nestled in trees it feels private. Our fur baby loved the attached fenced lot where she could run and play. Will definitely be back to this spot. House was great! We enjoyed being able to see the ocean from the house/deck, even on the super breezy days when we didn't want to sit on the beach. It was close to town, but far enough away from the pier that we always had a space to set our towels on the beach. Carolina One did a great job communicating with us. We have been coming to Folly for over 15 years. This is our favorite house and location so far. The house was so bright and spacious. Loved open concept on second floor and view of beach! Kitchen was perfectly stocked. Distance was far enough out that it was quiet but close enough to walk to Center Street. Beach access just across the street. The Treehouse was one one of cleanest and well equipped properties that we have ever rented. We loved the decor and the real wooden floor. We spent a great deal of time on the top wooden deck which was surrounded by beautiful trees which shaded the deck in the afternoons and evenings. The ocean view was beautiful from the deck and the kitchen. Beach access was literally across a small road and it took less than 3 mins to be in the waves. Welcome to The Tree House! Escape to your own slice of paradise in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, Pet-Friendly, 2-story home. Beach access is directly across the street. The sun room and deck spaces are great ways to enjoy ocean breezes and Lowcountry sunshine. The reverse floor plan provides a spacious recently remodeled kitchen, dining area, and living room with lovely ocean views. Coastal décor and large windows provide an abundance of light and color to make this the perfect beach house setting for you, your family, and your pup!
Enter the home on the ground level to find the 3 bedrooms and 1 spacious, full bathroom. The first bedroom offers a view of the sunroom, has 1 California king bed, and a flat-screen TV. Across the hall, the second bedroom has 1 queen bed with a nautical theme and a flat-screen TV. The third bedroom is perfect for the kiddos with 1 set of twin bunk beds. The full bathroom has been updated with large walk-in shower, double sinks, and a long wooden bench. Next to the bathroom is the laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, sink, and storage cabinets.
Go up the refinished staircase to the second floor into the large living room. Relax in the large leather couch and loveseat or oversized arm chair to watch a movie or the big game on the flat-screen TV. Have breakfast or play cards at the 2-person high top table. Walk into the open kitchen, complete with brand new, stainless steel appliances. Prepare meals with lots of cabinet and counter space, or on the granite top island with a gas range. All cooking utensils and serve-ware are provided to easily cook and serve all guests at your home away from home. Gather together at the 6-person dining table to eat or play games while enjoying lovely ocean views. The bar stools provide additional 2-person seating at the kitchen island.
If you feel like dining or having cocktails outdoors in the sun, transfer dinners or breakfast out to the 6-person table on the open porch off the kitchen. Grill out on the gas grill. Take the stairs down to the ground level patio for an alternate hangout place under the palmetto trees for some shade. The large fenced-in backyard is perfect for your furry friends!
When you are ready to go to the beach, just head straight out of the home and cross the street to the public beach access. Swim in the ocean, search for shells, or just lay back and bask in the warm sunlight....but don't forget the sunscreen! Bring your dog to the beach to enjoy the fun in the sand with you. Remember to have them on a leash at all times and be sure to read the City of Folly Beach pet rules that are posted on the refrigerator.
The unique, downtown area of Folly Beach is only 1/2 mile away to all beach shops, farmers market (select day of week), live music, and try one of our many local restaurants. Restaurants here offer everything from low country seafood to pizza to oceanfront, higher end dining. Downtown Charleston is also only a 20-25 minute drive, which offers world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks along the water, the aquarium, and much more for added entertainment.
Park in one of the 2 driveways to fit 2-3 vehicles. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. Home is pet-friendly with a $125 non-refundable pet fee plus tax, per pet. Up to 2 dogs are allowed. This property is non smoking and no events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home.
